Every workplace already has a feed. Adding another one and calling it reflection does not create a practice. It creates a quieter Slack with nicer fonts.
Groups in My Reflections are meant to stay light: a place to share selected reflections or reports with people who have a reason to read them.
Open, closed, invited
Some groups are open to people with the link. Others stay closed and work by invite. Professional users create and manage groups. Anyone on Free can join a group they are invited to and keep reflecting on their own.
That split keeps the cost of entry low for participants and puts ownership with the person running the room.
Ask for a reflection, not a performance
A good group ask is specific. Reflect on the client call. Reflect on the sprint retro. Reflect after the workshop you ran. Vague prompts produce vague posts and then people stop answering.
Shared reports help when the pattern matters more than one moment. Single shares help when one decision needs air. Both still respect private by default.
Protect the edges
If the group starts to feel like a status channel, shrink it. Fewer members. Clearer asks. Less chatter around the edges. Reflection spaces die from politeness as often as they die from neglect.
The test is simple. After a month, can the group name something it learned together? If not, change the ask before you add more people.
Roles inside the group
Someone has to own the ask. Someone has to close the loop. If every member waits for insight to appear spontaneously, the group becomes a polite archive. Rotate facilitation if you need to, but do not leave the room leaderless.
Shared reports help the owner show the pattern without demanding that everyone read every raw note.
Invite carefully
Invite people who will write. Spectators drain the room. A smaller group with finished reflections beats a large group with silence.
