People will not put real work notes into a tool they cannot leave. That is rational. Journals full of decisions, ratings and private doubts are not the place for lock-in dressed up as delight.
My Reflections treats export and deletion as first-class behaviour, not as a support ticket you hope someone answers.
What export means
From your account you can export your reflections, highlights, lowlights and reports as one file. It is yours whether or not you are on a paid plan. Cancel, pause, or move on. The record comes with you.
That promise only works if the file is complete enough to be useful elsewhere. Incomplete exports are a soft form of captivity.
Private until you share
Nothing you write is shared with a group, a coach or anybody else until you share it. We do not sell reflection text. We do not use what you write to advertise to you.
Support can see what you send when you ask for help. That is different from browsing your journal for product ideas.
Trust is a feature
Founders and coaches especially need this. Their notes include other people. A product that is vague about ownership will never get the honest entries that make deep dives worth opening.
If you cannot export it, do not write it there. We built the export path so you never have to make that trade.
Deletion is part of ownership
Export is one half of control. Deletion is the other. You should be able to remove an account and the reflections with it. Anything less turns privacy copy into marketing.
We treat both as ordinary account actions. Ordinary is the point. Extraordinary hurdles are how products keep data they should not keep.
What we collect to run the app
Account details, the reflections you create, and basic technical information about the device. Third parties that help run the service are listed in the privacy policy. None of that changes the rule that your notes are not an ad inventory.
