My Reflections Is Back: Now on Web, iPhone and Android

My Reflections has relaunched on web, iPhone and Android. Chris, the founder, shares why we rebuilt the app and what's coming next for Reflectors.

Hi, I’m Chris. I created My Reflections, I run it, and I use it every day as a fellow Reflector. Today I get to share something I’ve been looking forward to for a long time.

The new version of My Reflections is now available on the web, on iPhone and on Android.

This isn’t a quick coat of paint. We redesigned and rebuilt the app from the ground up. I want to tell you why we did it, what it means for you, and where we’re heading next.

Why we rebuilt it

There were three reasons, and they all pointed in the same direction.

The first was iPhone. People asked me when My Reflections would be on iOS, and my honest answer was “not yet”. I didn’t want to bolt something together. I wanted an iPhone app that felt right in the hand and made a two-minute reflection feel easy. Now it’s here.

The second was Android. Our Android app had served people well, but it was built on older foundations that were getting harder to look after. Every fix took longer than it should have. Bringing Android up to a modern version means it’s easier to maintain, which means we can spend our time improving the app rather than patching it.

The third reason is the one that matters most. My Reflections exists to help people with their self-reflection journeys. A cleaner, faster, more reliable app removes friction between you and the habit. The less you have to think about the tool, the more you can think about your day.

What My Reflections is (and isn’t)

If you’re new here, welcome. The idea is simple. You pick an activity type, rate how it went from 1 to 10, and write a short note. It might be a meeting, a task, a journal entry or a daily check-in. Over time, Insights and deep dives show you patterns you would never spot from memory alone.

It’s a journal with a loop. Not a social network, and not therapy. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or replace a clinician, coach or counsellor. It’s a private practice for noticing what’s working and what isn’t.

Your reflections stay private to your account. Nobody sees what you write until you choose to share it.

One account, everywhere

This is the part I’m most pleased about. One account now works across all three platforms. Capture a quick reflection on your phone after a meeting, then sit down at your laptop in the evening at go.myreflections.app and see the same journal waiting for you.

A few things I think you’ll like:

  • Offline Capture. On iPhone and Android, Capture queues until you’re back online, so a patchy signal on the train doesn’t cost you a thought.
  • Deep dives. A dated report over whatever stretch of reflections you choose. Tap a figure and it opens the notes behind it.
  • A generous Free plan. Unlimited core reflections, Insights, goals, personal tags, reminders and joining groups you’re invited to. No daily limit.
  • Professional, if you want more. USD $2.99 a month after a 7-day trial. It adds photo journals, creating and managing groups, scheduled reflections and inbound webhooks.

To everyone who’s been here from the start

Thank you. Truly.

Some of you have been reflecting with us for a long time. You stuck with the app through its rough edges and shared feedback along the way. That support means a lot, and I don’t take it for granted.

If you already have an account, there’s no need to start again. Just update the app and sign in; everything carries over, including your reflections, goals, tags and history. If anything doesn’t look right after you update, please write to us at [email protected] and we’ll sort it out.

If you’re an existing subscriber, you automatically get access to the new versions. There’s nothing extra to do.

What’s coming next

The relaunch is a beginning, not a finish line. Now that we’re on solid, modern foundations across web, iPhone and Android, we can move faster on the things you’ve been asking for.

We have some new features rolling out in the near future. Guides and randomised reflections are both coming soon, and I’ll share more as each one gets closer.

As always, if there’s something you’d love to see, tell us. The best ideas tend to come from Reflectors.

Get the new My Reflections

Whether you’re coming back or trying it for the first time, now is a great moment to start (or restart) the habit. Two minutes a day is plenty.

Pick whichever suits you, sign in, and capture your first reflection today. Then come back tomorrow and do it again. That’s really all there is to it.

Thank you for being part of this. I can’t wait to see where your reflections take you.

Warmly,

Chris Winfield-Blum
