Native My Reflections: Today, Insights, Capture

A reflection app lives or dies in the first five seconds after you open it. If capture is buried, you will close the app and tell yourself you will come back later. You will not.

Today

Today is where the habit shows up. You can see whether you reflected, what is pending, and how the recent stretch looks without opening a report. Streaks and trends are secondary to the next note you need to write.

The screen should answer one question quickly. What do I need to capture before the day moves on?

Insights

Deep dives live under Insights. Charts, ranges, tone, activity types. Figures still open the reflections behind them. The monthly read is where the two-minute notes earn their keep.

Insights is for looking back. It should not interrupt capture.

Capture

New reflection in a few taps. Rate it. Write what happened. Optional fields stay optional. Photo journals, schedules and groups remain available for Professional users without making the basic path heavier.

Native on iPhone and Android, and still available in the browser. One account, everywhere. The model did not change. The path to a finished note did.

One account across surfaces

Native capture only helps if the web and the phone stay in sync. The same account carries your reflections, groups and deep dives. Start a note on the train. Finish a review at a desk. Share from whichever surface you are on.

That continuity is part of the product, not a nice-to-have.

What did not change

Private by default. Two minutes is enough. Figures still open. We rebuilt the path, not the philosophy. If a redesign ever asks you to trade honesty for novelty, keep the honesty.
